Make sure you check out and ensure your car is ready for a trip. It would really suck if you broke down in the middle of no where
Get an AAA membership it'll save you if you get stuck and can't fix the problem

That's good, you've covered your bases
Looks like you've got life figured out pretty well. Enjoy the road.
The main thing you should do is just make sure that the components in your cooling system are working fine. Check that the hose clamps are tight. Make sure there are no leaks anywhere or none of the hoses are degraded. Fresh coolant. Radiator fans work. Radiator isn't falling apart. Etc...
Other than that, you should be good to go. Throw a 24 pack of bottled water in your trunk along just to be safe. Maybe bring a second car battery with you too just in case you do something retarded like leave your lights on overnight by accident

thanks bud. ill do my best.
if anyone is in AZ, UT, CO, NE,IA,IL, IN, OH, PA, NY, CT that knows anything about twisties near route 6 or shit anything worth seeing near there id love ta hear it.

good tips! just replaced a gross old water pump and did a full coolant flush.
also! Im in AZ and its super easy to get a gun here, do yall think Id need one on the road? or would that just cause more of an issue? not really a gun guy but say i get stranded at night in fuckin ohio, ya never know?
what do yall think?

It's always better to have a gun and not need it. Get a small lock box and chain it in the interior. As long as you're not planning on carrying it concealed in public, you shouldn't run into any legal issues. Idk your route, but the only place between AZ and OH with strict gun laws is IL.

Noodle looks like a good dog to have around.
Beautiful 2002 anon. I'd say, as long as you trust your car to make it and can handle driving an old car that long, go for it.
Make sure to change the fluids and everything beforehand, just to be safe.
I drove my E30 from New Orleans to Jacksonville and it handled it like a champ. I've never driven a 2002 that far, but I bet it'll be great.
