I removed my catalytic converter and now there is an awful stench both in and outside of the car 24/7. Smells like toxic fumes to be quite honest. Is this normal? I thought decatting a car was a fairly common thing people do
Yes it's normal.
Also you're a faggot for doing that on a street car. Just but a high flow cat.
Not to mention your 140 hp engine doesn't displace enough air to really be limited by a cat of a reasonable size.
Way to make miatas even gayer.

Is it really normal? I've been around and in a catless diesel and it didn't smell bad at all.

Enjoy your poisonous gasses killing yourself
>>16942720
dumb way to add 0HP and sound terrible

The stench is carbon monoxide, NOx, and unburned fuel. Put your catalytic converter back on. You probably have an exhaust leak too.
I did it in my Fiesta and it does that too. No regrets.

good job dummy
If you're looking for sound, just get different muffler tips. Your gay little asian car doesn't produce enough backpressure to justify removing the cat. Enjoy your monoxide poisoning.

Because the diesel was likely designed to be that way you stupid fuck.

Carbon monoxide doesnt smell

>CO
>smell
M8, why do you think so much people die of CO poisoning? The other 2 are valid.
In general; I have a catless diesel in a cold country, I like to think that diesel doesn't smell as bad because it evaporates less easily
