Hey /o/,
What's it gonna cost me to put a new frame on my '66 Fairlane? It's a little rusted and may not pass inspection this year
>(Pic related)
Pull the body off, hide the rust with bedliner. Start saving up.
Or what can I do to make it pass? Can I cover it up or something?

Should I just do the under carriage or coat the entire frame?

>a new frame
It's a unibody.

How does one fix a unibody?
>>16937419
By Cutting rust out and welding/soldering/bogging in new material
>>16937419
By buying another car
Go to Fairlane forums with clear PICTURES of your damage.
This is not a brand specific or model specific forum. /o/ is a place for the lost. To correct being lost, goto brand/model specific forums where you will find advice, howtos, and sources of PATCH PANELS for common rust areas. There is too much info to fit ITT, so fucking go where it does fit.
/o/ is not an automotive forum, it's is a shitpost forum.

Most helpful post yet besides the bed liner one. Forgot this Mongolian basket weaving website was built around shitposting

>soldering
Don't do this, weld only.

Will your inspection agency pass a unit-body car that has been bolted to a newer truck chassis (like an Explorer)?

See I was thinking that too but PA is getting cucked this year by inspection offices otherwise I wouldn't even be worried about the tiny little rust that's on it
