They're fun and there are lots of options to make them fast and handle well.
They aren't common though, only ever seen one in the wild a few times (other than mine)

Here is south florida. There's one for sale in the region and it's $1800 and automatic (don't really mind)

Dont get the Auto. I had a 1990 auto and the auto is why i sold it. The 3spd kills whatever performance the tiny engine had to begin with, and final drive is underdrive so you dont get any MPGs. 5spd festivas get mid 40 mpgs, my auto got high 20s, never more than 31mpg. Really, dont do it.
