Probably a metric fuckton. I had the original pads on my 1983 Schwinn 10 speed that was my dad's (now mine) that we've both ridden a shitton and they were still pretty thicc. I only replaced them because they were harder than diamonds and didn't stop very well. This is also with me using both brakes because gotta go fast.
