Thinking about buyen a VW Passat Variant. Good idea? If not what

if you live in yurop, sure why not. they're quite reliable and not too expensive in maintenance around here but not if you're in burgerland.

skoda superb is pretty much the same car but has a lot of additional awesome features and is a LOT cheaper.

buy it after a single personal lease if you can.
do your research and sell it before it hits a certain mileage. rinse and repeat, and if you do it right like I was taught, you can keep losses low.

I'm sure there are other ways, but that is how I was taught.
That is of course ideal and not always possible.

If you have a better way, mention it. I'm interested in your ideas.
I would just never buy a new vehicle. My father bought a new boat when I was young and that taught him and my mother a lesson that they taught me.

Of course you can get a Skoda to cost just as much but fucking take a look at the options.
Configure a Superb with a couple options you want and then do the same with the Passat. The Passat WILL be a couple thousands more.

Also, for the fun of it, fully option out both and compare the prices.
Skoda being just as expensive as VW is a brainfart.
