The paseo is just a Turdcel in a different form.
They are useless as coupes, way too tiny to take back passengers. The convertible one you posted would make an okay cruiser, a la the Geo Metro / Pontiac Firefly convertible.

A guy I know has one. It's quirky looking but the engine is absolute shit and turns the whole car into a cuckmachine. It's as far from a performance car as my mother's Fiat.
