you'll probably laugh at me but I tried to host a realistic car performance league in F1 2016 and have come to end of my patience.

Codemasters' netcode is on a whole new level of shit.

We had to include AI in order to pad out the pack. If you try and overtake them and you're not able to get the move done fast enough, expect them to turn into your racing line and ruin your race, also in the rain they're soo slow they're a hazard. They randomly park the car and brake check you for no reason.

I'm done with Codemasters, how do I salvage my league guys? I have at least 12 of us who have been with the league since the start and I don't want it to die.

I'm willing to switch to equal car performance and continue the league in a different game, but I need guidence.

We were racing with Master difficulty which suited a lot of the grid's performance. We're all from Europe, I believe codemasters' programming needs fixing. Makes sense, pretty sure this game has P2P online and as such when even a single client stops processing data it causes desync.

AC is alright for league racing, and you get a modern Ferrari F1 of good quality. It's lacking some features you might have gotten used to by playing the more polished F1 games but it's doable.

It'll be labeled "cr" with no extension. You can change the name of the file and you won't have to leave the server to click Save Replay so the file won't be overwritten on the next session. I'd recommend changing the settings of your replay as well. I have mine set to allow for 1000 MB and High quality which records for about 1 hour and 10 minutes. If you want to record longer, you probably need to set the quality to low or medium. These files can be zipped to below 200 MB easily to upload.

The easiest way to vatsim is through your local VAs and vaccs. I was flying for 4-5 years into vatsim and i can tell you that as a community they are really helpful and friendly. One guy literally sold me one of his spare yokes for 30$ and it was like 200 brand new.
