Looking at a 2002 Lexus IS300 on craiglist priced at $4,000.-New front lower ball joints
-fresh oil
-aftermarket exhaust
-touchscreen display
-sunroof
-power everything
-remote start
-heated seats
-leather seats
-HID head lights
-like new tires

I feel this might be too overpriced. I would apreciate some opinions and what I should pay for the car

Sounds about right if it's at ~160k miles. IS300s can range from $3k to $10k because the low-mileage standard transmission variants are so rare.
>>16857819
Problem is it's 190k miles. Would 3k be an insulting offer?
>>16857804
I would go for it
I got a question, how are the automatic transmissions in these cars? I don't know how to drive manual and I don't have any way to obtain a manual car to learn and I need a car.

From what i've heard they're pretty good. The computers in these cars do well in timing of when to up/down shft.
>>16857871
jesus dude what the fuck are you doing on /o/ then
>>16857835
>paying 3K for a 190K miles
He should take 2-2.5, desu. Absolutely godawful tail lights too.
>>16857916
>stock tails

I like cars I just have no friends. I really want to learn manual so I can enjoy driving more but I have no way of doing that. I'm not going to avoid /o/ because I have no experience driving manual, I'm not autistic.

No. Buy a mint one, not this shitty one
>>16857951
its just funny to me how americans get their driving licence on automatics lmao
>>16857980
most cars on the road in America are automatic, so it makes sense
>>16857980
They have places to be pablo/ahmed
>>16857951
I know what you mean. I wish my car was a manual. I used to own one. Just watch plenty of youtube videos learn a basis of techniques and just go for it and buy a manny trans
>>16857980
We can test on either automatic or manual.

Conversely Americans find it funny that Europeans can't afford 20 year old shitboxes with V8s.
