That's the point, you can't flip a truck on it's side. Truck will take up 18 by 7 feet. Trailer with the same cargo floorspace and depending on the model the same load rating as a pickup bed will take up 10 by 3 feet on its side. You can also install a winch in your garage and crane the trailer under the roof so it'll take up no space at all instead of having to park your redneck car park on the front lawn.
