Why isn't the PIT maneuver allowed in competitive racing such as Formula One and NASCAR?
>>
>>16828204
>200mph
>pit maneuver
Ok
>>
Gr8 b8
>>
>>16828204
yes
>>
>>16828204
they do bump each other, but the drivers obviously see it, and there will be vigilante justice on the track.

it's not something you want to do. you'll get a reputation that will follow you and make competing even harder.

>"pit maneuver" at 190+MPH in Formula One
Would bust my ass and buy any subscription to watch live.
>>
>>16828204
You literally get accidental PIT's at least once a race in NASCAR
>>
>>16828204
because those cars are very expensive
>>
>>16828204
>implying
>>
PIT is allowed in turnleft
In F1 you'd just ruin your front wing and possibly puncture the rear tire of the car in front. Not to mention that at any considerable speed the aero does a good job at keeping the car pointed straight.
>>
It's more satisfying to make a clean pass to show superiority rather than inferiority.

>ty based sonic
>>
>>16829273
Naw man that cunt deserved it by not checking his rear before that lane change.
>>
>>16829273
>moving to the left for upcoming left turn

Intentionally boxing or just shit at road courses.
>>
>>16828204
> F1
> Attempt PIT
> Carbon shards everywhere
> Wheels come off
> Race stopped while track is cleared
> Safety car for the next three races.

> NASCAR
> Attempt PIT
> Spin
> Other 500 cars on the track slam into the spinning car
> Huge crash
> Crowd goes wild
> 50 people die in the resulting fire
>>
>>16831559
It was intentional
>>
>>16831791
that's exactly how I imagine every nascar event
>>
>>16828204
I know you are memeing but why try to kill someone?
>>
>>16828204
Wouldn't make for exciting racing

>>16831559
Moving to the inside before a turn can be a good defensive strategy. Obviously he did it way too late and got what he deserved.
>>
>>16832115
Nah, he was blocking
He got what he deserved
>>
>>16831843
I think NASCAR is just the american equivalent of rush hour on the M25, just with less crashes.
>>
>>16829273
>defensive driving with that big of a speed difference
deserved getting spun out. fucking faggot get passed.
>>
>>16831843
>>16832961
NASCAR is fucking great, because it's an oval track, and the cars are designed to drive ovals.

they're on the razors edge between grip and drift. All the time.

Really cerebral stuff, but only gets traditionally exciting with ~20 laps to go.
