I once drove like that in my stock 2006 impreza (non-WRX) shitbox, except I did it faster, at midnight, with all-season tires, and instead of OP's pansy-ass version of "snow", it was pic related - more slush than snow, since it was heavy freezing rain for a while, and completely unplowed. On a long straight where it was a little thicker, started to lose control around 55. Kept overcompensating when I countersteered and eventually spun out into the other lane, stopped right at the edge of the road with an intact car and a retracted set of testes. Taught me a healthy respect for driving conditions that I didn't really have before, since I've been spoiled by that delicious AWD.

You remind me of the kids who think because they bought rain tires , they can now drive in excess speed in the rain.
The reality is commercialism has sold you on bullshit. Tire design doesnt break the law of physics. Enough water will cause your tire to rise and hydroplane. Your handling and steering will still be compromised as will your stopping distance.
People slow down because they anticipate for unlikely conditions or emergencies. Im very sure all of them can drive like a twat like youve demonstrated. Theyre just worried about someone pulling out somewhere, losing a brief moment of traction in a turn, maybe a gust, or an animal running out into the road.
Because theyve slowed down the brake or adjust to these conditions the same as if it was on a normal dry sunny day.
You sound like the same kind of stupid kids who act amazed that their brake fluid boils at the tracks and they crash when there brakes completely fail
