Does the Focus ST have the same reliability issues as regular

They have some other issues, wiring harness for the earlier models, can't remember for the recent models.

They're pretty good though, slightly less reliable then the Fiesta ST.

The manuals have issues too. Grinding and odd noise.
Also burning up clutches and brakes within 40k
Turbo failures
Intercooler pipes failing
Coil packs failing.
Boost sensor failures.

How is the 2016 FOST holding up? I have had mine about 6 months only issue so far is the fucking paint on the hood is cheap and chips.

Transmission issues should be tidied up, Ford finally has a revised number for the clutch setup. If you're looking into a used one make sure it qualifies for an extended service plan and have it fixed under warranty with the new part number and it shouldn't be a problem.

This. My friend's type R civic has no end of trouble with bits failing. The windscreeen washer nozzles just plain don't work, and it's got reliability issues.

My regular focus just plain works.

The only problem I have with manual is you can only get it on the highest trim/sport option or the lowest base.

Any car in the 2013-2017 range that offers it in the middle level packages I can get used for 10k at a dealership?
