It feels terrible knowing that the only thing keeping this from being the perfect driving game is the god awful physics.
It's actually okay if you turn traction control off. The worse part is that you can't turn off autosaving whenever you switch your active car, meaning it's impossible to try out cars without buying them permanently.

physics and sound.

Remove the memory card?

I don't know if that's possible on an emulator. The real deal has unbearably slow menus after playing it on an emulator at double speed. Also I don't have an operational PS2 anymore.

Just use save states if you're on an emulator.

>blown 97 camaro making near 400hp
>dirt tires
>swiss alps
>turn off traction control and active stability management
>cannot power oversteer
>apply power and the car only under steers
>only way to make any car over steer is to trail brake as a car begins to rotate
yeah, nah, there's omnipresent stability control that cannot be turned off
infuriating I can emulate this at 1080p where it looks modern and the physics feel almost up to snuff with modern GT titles but GT4 actively prevents loss of traction in the rear wheels once the car is up to speed

Talking about great physics.
Pic very related.

i grew up with this game. Tbh, new physics and better graphics and i'd lob FH3 out the window. Nre GT games have been meh to me though

How does the Zonda R compare to the FXX-K and P1 GTR?
>>16806433
Other than nitpicks about certain cars and engine sounds, yes
Forza is the fucking worst too, every car feels like a boat with a low centre of gravity, even the AE86 when lightened
