How much offset can you "play" with when buying new wheels?
Why are wheel offsets so specific down to the millimeter? Does it really matter if you get 25 or 26 mm offset wheels? What about 25 and 30? 20 and 30? Where does it start?
yes it matters
1. or proper stance so ur shit doesnt look retarded
2. not hitting the fender
3. not hitting brakes
what 2 get depends on ur car

What I'm asking is if I have a 26mm stock offset and a 23mm wheel can I get away with it?
>>16760505
but that depends on the car
that is going to push the wheel out from the brakes a bit but its prob fine since thats not a lot

really depends
sometimes changing offset ruins a car sometimes it fixes an undesirable trait
and it could be that a higher -ET does the trick, it could be that a lower one does
kinda like a sine wave
good luck lol
when you buy wheels that are 9.5-11 inches you dont want the edge of the lip to contact your fenders when your suspension compresses
its how you achieve the tucked or hellaflush look
i prefer tucked so you never have to worry about damaging your fenders because bent fenders look trashy af
