Long story short I was doing my first oil change, realised I've used brake fluid instead on engine oil. Is it still fine to drive a short distance to the store to buy some? It's only like 3 miles tops.

I already poured the old stuff down a drain. I got told that you had to let the old oil drip out overnight (I've since learned this isn't true) so I had nothing left to do at the end of yesterday and figured I'd get rid of it while I was oily.
