I don't know much about cars.
I drive them around a lot and have about 200 to 300k km of experience.

I would like to pick up track driving.
What do I do besides getting a suitable beater?
I'm unlikely to ever want to race.

It's a pretty stupid and general question desu.
But so far my plan is purchase beater car;go to track.

I guess figure out what tracks are near you and seeing what there requirements are for participating in a track day, and if available classes to learn how to drive on a track.
Also it would help to know what kind of racing you plan on doing
