Step 1 clutch bite point
>get going using only clutch no gas. Do this 5 times in a row without stopping.
Step 2 actual starts
>add gas to mix. Don't go crazy with gas or clutch dumping
3. Downshifting
>blip throttle before releasing clutch to smooth out downshifts.
4. Hill starts
>learn to balance right foot between brake and gas. Handbrake is bitch-mode.

I did not know how to drive manual, but I saw some amazing & cheap cars that were manual so I was determined to get one. A week before I bought the car I asked my friend to teach me on his car

After 20 minutes I was driving around, and I only stalled out once. By the third time I drove in his car I was cruising on main roads & highways trying to smooth out my shifting.

Learning manual seems impossible at first, but its pretty easy after a little bit. There is a very high skill cap with manual, so your always trying to learn and improve. I still can't shift fast and smoothly, but its slowly improving.

After driving a manual it makes automatic seem retardedly easy and boring. There is a low skill cap with auto, and even high-end preformance cars with auto transmissions get boring after a while.
