i just have a long ass cable and run it from cig light down across the underside of the steering column, then up the side, and to the cam in front of the dash hood where i dont see it. My cam is on said hood since its flat and a perfect mounting point. perfect is that when i take the cam away, the end is just slung over the column for easy access
