For us in the south east US, it's pollen season!
How do you cope with it? Tips? Tricks? Do you just give up and pray for rain?
Just washed my car 3 days ago, already covered in pollen.
Now I have to wash it twice a week.
Cant cope, only suffer.
>thunderstorm last night
>car looks perfect in the morning
>hooning the morning commute, back in to park in my spot
>come out to get lunch
COVERED IN POLLEN AGAIN
Fucking South Carolina. Beautiful day and I can't even drive with my windows/moonroof open because of my black interior...
How is the west coast with pollen? I was in LA last spring and I don't recall the kind of pollen you'd see here on the east coast, it might have been that it was over while I was there.
Not east coast but my car was getting covered in pollen too.
I'm more worried about a pinecone falling on my car. I can wash off pollen but not a big dent

I live in the Middle West.
Spring came early so now I am spending $12 a week in car washes ($6 a pop).
I know that sounds like a cheap car wash and it is because it is the cheapest one they have at a Shell station I regular. I used the expensive one in the summer since I am only washing bi-weekly but this time a year. Twice a week minimum.

Pollen isn't a big problem unless you're parked next to the trees emitting them. The pollen from our trees are very yellow and thick, not thick in that it's a thick layer, the spores are large. It usually comes off when I drive past 30mph

I pretty much keep a small cleaning kit with me all the time now. I regularly wipe off my windows

Same. I've got the dirtiest old microfiber cloth in my trunk I do a quick dry wipedown on my shitbox if I get time.

I have a power washer and spray the car off every couple days.
Unfortunately this basically trades pollen for water spots, I'm not about to be wiping my car down every day.
