What's the best truck I can get under 15k /o/?
Need something to haul a motorcycle ~600lbs
>>16737720
I can tell you it's not the s-10
>>16737727
I know. That's just one I found on cl that had a 350 crate motor
>>16737736
>s10 with 350
That's kinda cool actually
>>16737756
agreed
>>16737720
you can get a healthy 5.3 gmt800 for less than 5k in great shape, doubly so if you dont need 4wd
get a ford transit connect.
>>16737720
ranger with the 2.3 mazda engine

Like this?
2008 Ford Ranger XL - $5400

That's pretty far under my price range which is nice.

Only bad things about them is that they're really basic and slow, but if you don't mind that, go for it.
>>16737838
Why are you looking at a dealer? Are you trying to finance this shit?
>4 cyl Ranger
enjoy your slow as fuck, boring, gutless, underpowered, absolutely and abysmally slow "truck"
>>16737838
jelly about daytona beach
>>16737856
Don't mind it at all. Just want to be able to load a bike in the back of it and maybe go offroad
>>16737863
Didn't even read it desu. No I got cash
>>16737873
The lima 2.5/2.3 one is shit. I will admit. The mazda 2.3 is adequate and gets the best mpg. If he needs more capability, then a full size with a v8 is best.

Yeah it's a pretty great city for an /o/tist. Tons of racing history plus half naked bitches every where.
>>16737928
>5100 miles in 8 years
That seems a bit weird for a truck of all things.
Also did these not come in manual? I suppose I should add that I'd prefer a standard shift. Also totally not opposed to a fullsize v8 or diesel torque monster.
>>16738015
sounds rad, but is probably outside of the scope of op's request for a practical reliable light tow platform
>>16738025
>Also did these not come in manual?
A lot of them did
>>16738025
for sure, ill be down there in a couple weeks to visit the folks, they live right next to the boot on peninsula
>>16738025
you'd have to really expand your search radius to find an xlt 4-cylinder with a manual that's newer than 2001.
get a 5.3 chebby. easy to work on and run forever w/ good maintenance

This color gives me a hard on.

nigger that is the weight of four tiny people
find a cheap SUV or minivan or something, literally anything can fucking move that as long as it fits on the inside. i moved a 400lb 78 honda 1,200 miles in a 2010 escape with a 2.5 V4
>>16738160
*I want to put it in the bed and other large items
Haul may be wrong terminology, never owner a truck nor towed anything
>>16738168
you're gonna want something with an 8ft box senpai, ive seen a tailgate fail with a bike on it before
