By "with transmission fluid" I hope you mean along with transmission fluid. Don't put ATF in a differential unless it is called for in the owners manual.

Milege requiremnts for transmissions and your diff should be in your owners manual. 20k miles for both is a good interval. Most cars can go longer. Make sure you get the exact spec oil your car calls for.

I changed the transmission fluid in my Jeep at 100k miles. The Jeep now has 345k miles and the trans is the only thing that works perfect.

Change your ATF per the manual. Then kys for driving an automatic. I tend to change diff oil a little more frequently.

If your asking about the old myth of "if i never changed my transmssion fluid is it ok to change it" and short answer is yes

if 100k+ miles over your service dont change fluid in torque converter but the rest can be changed

anything under that and generally is pretty good to go. Some cars have super high service intervals like 100k or even lifetime. Just read your manual

OP here. I plan on getting a 6-speed 2019 ford ranger when they come out. I grew up driving stick but when my mustang started to crap out I got a little 4 banger ranger with low miles.
