My /k/ammando friend asked me a question I couldn't answer on pic related.
He likes it for the aesthetics and says to him it looks "fun" and "comfy"
Now the question was what modifications could you do to them without breaking the bank. I dont get into these specific cars to know. but let's say a realistic number would be 300-350 whp. What could be done my friends?

Nothing. You'll have to boost it to hit anywhere near those numbers to the wheels.
>>16668801
Gonna need turbo or supercharger to do that.
>>16668826
Op again.
My original thought was to tell him was get a older wrx or sti. But since it's for this particular body he likes/wants I didn't want to say that.
Is there a good after market? Or any specific tunes?

there is a huge aftermarket for this car. You could probably already find one boosted but buy at your own risk. All the tunes for these cars are run off of ecutek. Could go the TJ hunt route with Delicious E85 tune.

Thanks friend.
Is turbo or sc really necessary to increase it that extra 100hp?
Confession time:
I have only tuned up one hemi and two Oldsmobile motors

You could do it na but it will be more money and headache.
Might as well go fi and budget 8-10k for it all unless you are doing all the labor.

Sell that snoremobile and get a stock fast car like a V8 Mustang
>>16668872
You're looking at like 5 grand to make 290 at the crank.
>>16668832
be prepared to spend at least $8k for any significant increase in power
Tell him to get a 2014 and put a pTuning turbo setup into it.
Has to be manual.
The car IS comfy as fk to drive thou... The seats hug you like I wish my mother would have when I was younger
