Now you need an EZ out. That hole you drilled is too small for an EZ out big enough to get the bolt out.

do you understand what a tap is? because thats not tapping a bolt

also get some fucking lubricant before you start drilling into metal with anything

slightly larger cause you have to get through the old threads and the closer the hole is to the size of the tap, the easier it will be to create the new threads

Based on your question I presume you don't have the tools or skills to simply weld a nut onto it.

cool thanks. yeah i just have a very very thin layer of the bolt left as a shell in there so i guess ill just go one size up. am i really supposed to be using lubricant?

1)get a set of hardened left hand drill bits and a set of extractor bits
2)drill the bolt out with the left hand bits
3)use the extractors the same way, jam it in there and you should be able to back that bitch out without having to fuck with the threads
