Alfa Romeo MiTo 1.4 MPI or 8th gen Honda Civic Type-S 1.8 VTEC?
My budget is about 6k € (6,5k $) and I want a car that is under 100K km (60k miles) used. Which one would you take? The MiTo will have cheaper spare parts, running costs etc. since it's just a Punto with some sprinkles on top (and the FIRE engines have a REALLY good reputation around here). But the Honda will be probably more powerful and it seems really high-tech and with better ergonomics inside + it looks really roomy.
What would you choose for a daily driving with a few short trips per day and then one really long at the end of the month?
HARDMODE: Must be a 3-door car since I like them.
I'm also open to other suggestions but believe me I've looked at almost every single car that you can buy around here but since I'm a poor Eurofag and DON'T want a German or a French car my choice is quite limited...

The NA 1.4 on the mito as an underpowered engine for new drivers.
Got for a turbocharged one instead.
As of what concerns this comparison: it's stupid because you're comparing two different classes of vehicles, the Civic for sure is more comfy, more refined and more stuffed with technology.
I'd go for the Civic but...pic related is the option I'd choose (always 1.4 Multiair turbo)

Ok, I know, I forgot the 3 doors.
In this case >>16653697 is right.
Swift Sport it's a nice option.

Oops, that's not a picture of the car.
Like I said the Suzuki Swift has:
+packs a punch
+loads of fun
+kind of pretty, women seem to like it a lot.
+easy to park, easy to maneuver

It's more of a "I like the general ideas of these cars and they kinda fit my needs" comparison...
How underpowered are we talking? Right now I use Mercedes-Benz B180 CDI as a company car and that has about the same power-to-weight ratio as the NA 1.4 MiTo and I'm quite satisfied with how fast that car is.
>Honda didn't bother to release the superior FD2 and instead we got a heavier and super ugly "type R" with inferior rear suspension
