>someone asks if its possible to do an X swap

great thread shitphonse
can I swap an srt10 into my cayman?
>someone asks if he can borrow my pen
>I said yes
Literally shit thread
kys OP
To be fair it's a very unspecific and uninformed question. Like, what do you expect us to reply? A 200 page handbook on how to swap this specific engine into that specific car?

I'm not sure honestly. This is an interesting article on it, but it doesn't mention rain. Maybe it just dissipates?

Mercedes usually used SOHC/DOHC at that time.

Pretty sure they are a limited production V10 for Honda's F1 production. I'll try to find the Wikipedia page for it.

>>16649779
I know for the 500L Engine, Mercedes used a loophole with OHV to get ahead. Pretty interesting read.

Rolls Royce merlin into a Twingo when?
>>16649707
Literally because NASCAR.
OHC was ruled as "exotic" back in the 60's and effectively banned. Then you add in the established vendors and teams that have significant investment in OHV engines since then and you can see why they wouldn't update for any single company.
>>16649422
My guess is that the rain accumulation is not going to be a problem while driving because of the exhaust pressure relative to atmospheric pressure. While the car is sitting, still not an issue because not enough water is going to build up to cause an issues and it will just evaporate and exit the exhaust the next time you drive it.
I think Porsche assumes that if you're buying a 1mil+ car you aren't going to just let it sit outside for extended period of time without it being driven.
