I always thought that was part of the experience
a grinder disk is a circle anon, no corners
No because they get between me and getting shit done.
Used to work autobody, my head to my toes I was covered in dust 24/7. There was no point to gloves doing most things, not to mention we kept gloves in the paint room but I only learned we had them halfway through my time there.

Mfw that's the point of the channel.
yep some whiteish/tan latex gloves that my friend gets for free at work. pack of 100-150. Pretty fine until you stick your hand in somewhere tight. They rip on a lot of shit, but it's better than spending 5mins with citrus clean
I also have some mechanix gloves but I hardly use it unless it's cold or actually need legit protection.
sometimes tho I just go gloveless when I can't get the feel right.

Always wear gloves. Dermatitis on your hands is no laughing matter. Speaking from experience, It's itchy, not nice to look at and makes it awful you use your hands for anything
Depends on car/part/area being cleaned.
For fiberglass or bondo work, latex gloves.
For regular mechanical kind of work, typically no gloves. If the part in question is horribly disgusting, latex gloves. Some of the steering/suspension pieces on older cars get a constant oil/dust coating from the leaking oil pan, which leads to 1/2" of crud built up on them. Gloves go on for that kind of stuff. Brake pads and oil changes I don't bother.
Parts cleaning I use above the elbow chemical resistant gloves that have sand embedded in them for grip. Gas still melts them, but it does it slowly, so that's okay.
