Tires are tires. Wheel is the wheel. The rim is the edge. Like pic related has red writing on the rim of the wheel. Engine is the engine obviously, and motors are electrical, like windshield wiper motors or sunroof motors. However, an engine actually is a motor by definition, so it's not at all wrong to call them that. Why do you think we have motorboats and motorcycles?
