Not the other anon, while Shift 1 and 2 may contain race cars, both allow you to modify and race shit boxes in greater detail than most games.

Shift 2 Unleashed is my favourite NFS along with Porsche Unleased. Wide selection of cars, pretty detailed tuning, which shows in the interior too, and good balance between arcade and simulator.

Also, good engine noises. I don't know why even the newest games have such shitty, synthetic sounding engines.

The Crew has ok-ish customisation but I wouldn't really call it a good racing game. The sense of scale is incredible but the car handling feels really weird no matter how many times you fiddle with the settings.
