GM has AWD systems notably Cadillac with a RWD bias system that sends power to the front wheels when it detects slip (or so i've heard)
My question is why haven't they made an AWD performance car with this? I mean even if they couldn't because their V8s would destroy the transmission or something don't they have turbo V6s? is it possible for them to actually do it or would any powerful engine they hooked up to it result in a blown transmission?

The Corvette and Camaro accelerate quick enough and post good enough laptimes. inb4 memes. AWD only helps with 0-60 times which are a meme. Not only would the chassis have to be redesigned but it would add weight to an already fat car.
The new NSX does exactly as you said.
I don't like GM but their RWD sports cars already have good acceleration and performance.
Dodge on the other hand, are complete mad mens they don't even sell that many SRTs how can they keep getting away with their monstrosities..
New Syclone pls.
Dont literally the skylines and R35 do that? they are pretty much full RWD until it detects slip. I think the R35 goes AWD for the launch tho.
This has existed since '89 on the R32
