Linguists have found a sharp 'k' or the hard 'c' sound to be most appealing to hear and easy to say. It's the basis as to why Kodak is named what it is.

Which country do you live in where you can actually own a JDM RHD car and have the space to work on it yourself?

It was actually big news when released in 1979 for the 1980 model year. It was one of the first affordable FWD American cars, they came with a reliable 4 cylinder or an all new 60 degree 2.8L V6 (which evolved over the years. The last use of a variant of it was in 2011). It was either a 2 or 4 door hatchback, and was one of America's first hot hatches with the Citation X-11. The X-11 got retuned suspension, a new rear axle, bigger brakes and sway bars, standard bucket seats, and a special high output version of the 2.8L V6. Pic related. A Citation X-11 and ALL the parts on it different from a normal Citation.
They actually faired pretty well against RWD competition at the time.
