Hey aut/o/, this is my first time posting here, I need some transportation. My first car was pic related, bought it for 600$ if I recall correctly. It ran and drove but it seemed like it wasn't in the best shape, the floor board was rusted through for one thing. Anyway for some reason or another I got rid of it not long after buying it. I just wanted to ask your opinion on any good ideas, maybe something older that I can work on. Unless newer cars are perfectly fine to work on, it's just I heard a while ago older cars are easier to work on, plus it might be cheaper than buying a newer car. Some of the things I found locally are:
1997 Honda Accord 900$
1990 4x4 Ford Ranger 1300$
1998 Dodge Dakota Sport Edition 1500$
2001 Chevrolet Blazer LS 4WD 2dr SUV 2200$
Thanks for any help in advance.

>4x4 ranger
What motor? Because that should be the only thing on your list

Accord might have issues at that price but it will be cheaper and easier to fix than a truck. It will be a shitbox but it will run forever.

It's got a 4.0 V6

Interesting, will take into consideration.
Also while I would like having having a car or a truck I would even consider getting something on two wheels. I'm not crazy about it and I would probably like a car or truck more, but it would be cheaper all around. Right now I just need something to get to work and to the local store. I was thinking about getting one of those motorized bicycles or something similar, looked at some the other day but not sure what to get.
Imma leach off your thread and ask how good of a work truck the 620 is? I have the opportunity to buy a decent one for a good price, but I'll be using it to build a cabin. Can it handle tougher work or is it just a lawn truck? I know it's rated at 2000lbs payload

It's a 2wd 4 banger mini nip truck with a weber carb. It's garbage for anything heavy duty

I realise that it's not the most capable, but would it be able to haul around a bed of dirt, some lumber, concrete bags etc? I know they have no power but I've seen people do a lot with them.

>can it be done?
Yes
>will I have to maintain 4k rpms to stay above 45mph while moving a load
Also yes

That sounds ok. As long as the truck lasts for small to medium-duty tasks that is. I won't be hauling around 2k+ lbs.
