Do brits just ignore the reliability issues associated with range rovers or are they just completely deluded
at least jaguars now come with a fairly long warranty
>>16577050
>Fell for the unreliability meme
>>16577088
>tfw drivetrain falls out after 25k miles of highway
>>16577088
so range rovers are now the pillar of reliability?
>>16577050
Rovers and Jags are cheaper to maintain in britbongland.
Same reason it's easier to maintain BMW and Mercedes in the euro region really.
>>16577050
Modern RRs aren't that bad, for a car with that many bells and whistles at least.
>>16577050
The American obsession with reliability doesn't happen everywhere.
>>16577121
this genuinely made me laugh
are you seriously saying that having your air suspension collapse or electrics flake out is only annoying to people in the united states?
or that if I lived in london and my 80,000 pound car didn't start one day I would just shrug it off?
>>16577050
>do idiots purchae things solely as status symbols?
Yes
>>16577149
I get that
it's just when they get well reviewed as great cars that confuses me
>>16577146
Yes. Although sadly due to the internet more people are becoming like Americans.
>range rover and jaguar
>british
>>16577050
we don't ignore the reliability issues so we buy better made foreign cars instead
>>16577178
wtf, I want to be american now
>>16577196
Just act like an entitled narcissistic cry baby all the time and you're there.
>>16577205
Things are going to change once Trump starts taking away entitlements (socialism).
>>16577164
theyre great because when you review a new manufacturer prepped car for a day reliability issues are basically irrelevant
>>16577191
Have brits ever made a reliable car, other than the Mini?
>>16577232
And then you will be on the street because Trump voters use more social programs.
>>16577164
Its like video games. They only use it for 3 hours when its brand new and pretend they have a complete opinion of the product
>>16577205
I am entitled because I want my car to work
>>16577257
Jealousy is very unbecoming
>>16577268
Having a working car is a privilege not a human right, you brat.
>>16577270
>says the anon jealous of people getting gibs
>>16577264
Not just video games, but everything really.
>>16577287
>implying there is such a thing as human rights
Who pays for the gibs?
>>16577255
>Mini
>Reliable
Pick neither.
>>16577318
I was being lied to?
>>16577296
who cares it's a tiny fraction of the budget
wanting reliability in a car is a sign of mental weakness and a deficiency in character.
these are the same type of people who suffer from elevated blood pressure if they leave their phone at home
>>16577337
Not him, but I know the BMW Mini's are known for atrocious reliability.
>>16577339
>wanting reliability in a car is a sign of mental weakness
>>16577422
>waah i can't walk to work i might get gang raped and enjoy it
fucking faggot learn self defense and how to hunt
>>16577409
I wouldnt call those bloated lumps mini
>>16577339
>>16577447
>being contrarian just for the sake of it
>>16577461
>being adequately prepared is contrarian
>>16577339
>>16577447
Some people live in small towns where work is 30 miles away and there are no cabs or public transportation
>>16577107
shit bait
>>16577447
>and how to hunt
holy shit my sides
>>16577050
guessing no one itt has owned either a modern jaguar or Range Rover
I had a 2008 RR vogue hse, 2015 f type r and now a 2015 rr sport sc. Never had a problem with the f-type but got rid of it after only a year. The 2008 RR ran flawlessly with no issues, sold it to a friend and it still runs fine after 100k+ miles. The new generation sport has been a slightly different story. I've put 25k miles on it and have had water pump issues, thermometer malfunctions, rattles, and generally weird niggling things that are minor but still annoying when the car cost almost $100k new. The RR dealerships are terrible and gouge the hell out of you for everything, even if it should probably be covered under warranty. To anyone considering buying one I would say to make sure that you are near a dealership and that you can cough up the cash if something goes wrong. You're looking at $850 annual service and another $800 when a sensor begins malfunctioning. Water pump $3k.
With that said I still like the car. Plenty sporty for such a big thing and almost as comfortable as the ultraluxe brands like Bentley and Rolls Royce with the benefit of being more practical for daily use and distance driving.
