Season 2 might be better the writing is pretty aweful and that's sad because most of Clarkson's other stuff is great right back to when he first started.

Guess writing the same shit for 35 years takes a toll but the actual reviews are great it's just the rest of the show is very rough

Tg has always faked stuff, and the fans know they do, so it's not like theyre trying to fool anyone. For instance, during the "source of the nile" special, richard hamster broke a wishbone, but then apparently fixed it with a lump of scrap and a welder. We all know that's bull, but the unreliable narrator is funny.

Why can't Grand Tour be the automobile version of Wrestlemania? Wrestling is fun and highly scripted entertainment. It's not a documentary show of real wresting.

OBVIOUSLY the top gear was scripted, but they are doing something wrong with grand tour. Nobody complained about the scripted feeling of the old show like they are this one.
