If they built the whole motor then yes they are not that bad. Better to start with an evo if you were going for a big hp monster. If they slapped on a bigger turbo and some other bolt on then no. Anyone who makes a car like that k ow it could grenade but that's not their only car so it doesn't matter

Assuming the engine was built correctly, there's no reason it can't be. If you want horsepower though, EJ's are not the most cost-effective option.
