get rid of 2 and use that money to get a decent Miata.

I have my DD, my project, my old DD which I'm trying to sell, my wives DD, and her old DD which I'm trying to sell too. U basically just hit the nail on the head with what I'm planning on doing although maybe not a miata. I'm 6'3 and 265lbs. I've driven almost exclusively american V8s and autos and I just want a small fun 4banger manual shitbox to toy around in
>>16538372
Why do you need 3 cars?
>>16538430
I don't NEED anything but this is America mother fucker I'll have whatever I WANT
No but for serious, the DD is a 3 row SUV that I use to either haul the family around or all my equipment to and from work. The other one is a 79 camaro with a bored out 350 and a 3 speed auto which I plan on owning forever and fully restoring. Want a hoon mobile
>>16538372
Ah ok gotcha ... that miata doesn't look like a terrible option in that case

Not really lol, I got it off the original owner it's got a dented bumper and front passenger quarter panel and bent hood from him offroading it. The frame and shit is all straight so I dont give a fuck. I literally bought it as a beater DD because of mud and flooding and I was sick of dragging my dirty ass work gear around in my leather interior camaro
>>16538603
I'm from NY, even with the dent she's pretty clean.

>>16542522
I've got a 1969 220D and a 1983 240D it's kind of a slow meme. They only get 40 mpg if you can stand to hypermile the slowest passenger car within a 100 miles of you. If you need to do 55 mph you'll be getting 30 mpg. The w123s are nowhere near as well constructed as the w115s and built for the asshole that buys the cheapest Mercedes Benz on the lot. Not rare at all. But the price is okish start at 1800 cash 2k is a great deal for this with good compression. Get a compression kit or take it to a shop to check it. Or just loosen the oil cap and see if it flys off check the fuel governor and make sure it has oil in it. Calipers go bad more then the break pads so make sure it dosnt pull when you break
>1991 Honda Civic Si

Anon from another thread has one. Gets a whopping 65 HP out of it. 0 to 6 in 20 seconds.
>>16543644
>not put together
Ahh, you see, you've found the problem too!
In its current state, that's at least 80 hours shop time to assemble and paint.
And the engine doesn't even look freshened up.
So 15k, plus 80 hours x 100 an hour, plus all the bits it's missing. That's 25k for a mostly stock piece of shit that needs an interior.

He emailed me this:
"My 2011 Toyota Tacoma is still for sale. It has 70000 miles, engine 4.0L, 4X4, Automatic and clear title. The price was reduced at $5200 as I need to sell it before January 29th, when I'll be leaving with my unit Brigade Combat Team back to South Korea replacing the troops scheduled to come home. The deal includes free delivery as you may know we can ship a truck/bike/etc from home to the base and back one time in a year for free. The vehicle will arrive at your address in 48hrs so my presence it's not necessary cause I have everything arranged with Amazon . You will have 5 days testing period before I receive any money and if by any reason you find something you don't like about, you can send it back on my expense and you will receive a full refund of your money. It is located in Omaha, NE. The title is clean and free of any loans or liens!
If you're interested in purchasing it, all I need from you is your full name, phone# and shipping address and Amazon will contact you shortly after I forward them your contact details."
I'm in Texas by the way.

Its got popup headlights which are cool, imo. But the v6 engine in these is crammed in there, so its a bitch and a half to do any maintenance. I hear they arent bad otherwise. It IS an 80s car, so the electronics in it will soon start to die if they already havent.
