>tfw you scratch the rims for the first time
Arrrrrgh! So pissed off right now. Had this car in pristine shape for 6 years so I guess it was bound to happen sooner or later, but still pissed!

My wheels look worse than that just from gravel and bits of road.
probably small rocks from commuting/driving
It was because of driving onto one of these fucking things to take me through the touchless car wash. It was dark out so I couldn't see the mirror that shows you if you're aligned. FUUUUUAAAARK!

This is the second thread I've seen about damage that could have been avoided if you just washed your damn car yourself. It's not difficult or expensive.
I'm way more autistic than you need to be about washing and my detailing equipment cost me $50.
>2 buckets, wash and wax, spray wax, quick detailer, microfiber wash mitt/sponge, 2 waffle weave microfiber towel, 2 super plush microfiber towels, 4+ basic microfiber towels
~$30, 5+ washes before needing to buy refills of anything
Additional autism:
>3rd bucket, grit guards for buckets, more microfiber towels, wheel brush, rim cleaner, tire cleaner, glass cleaner, rain-x
+$50
