Hey /o/,
Been driving an econoshitbox Yaris for years, but I'm getting a 100% pay raise in two months...it's time to get a real car.
This will need to be a reliable DD, so I'd like to keep in NA. Think I'm down to three choices:
2005-2010 Mustang GT
2006-2011 Civic Si
FR-S or BRZ
Can anyone chime in on their experiences with these vehicles? I'm planning on test driving all of them the next couple months but any input would be appreciated.
Budget-wise, I'm ok spending $16k on a almost new car like the FRS. The Mustang and Civic seem to be around $10k.
I'm thinking:
Mustang: Cheap speed!
Civic: Drivers car, Honda reliability
FRS/BRZ: supposed to be crazy fun, newer car, but more expensive
bump anyone?
Just get a 90s pickup truck. You'll never break down ever.
Get an S2K.
>Honda reliability
>Way more capable than a BRZ
>Will take tons of boost on stock bottom end
Plus it's cheaper than the BRZ

Honestly, this anon isn't wrong.
I'd say get the later models, they have more torque on the bottom end making it a bit more tolerable in heavy traffic.

be responsible and keep driving the yaris. If you all of a sudden get a big raise it could be taken away just as suddenly.
The only newer mustang worth buying is 2015+
