Has anybody on this board had any experience with the Quickjack or similar products? I'm tired of using a floorjack and stands and cannot install a lift in my garage. Pic related.
Will I RIP if I use it? It seems like leaning on the car would cause it to fall over
That doesnt look very safe if you ask me

If you have to ask that question, then yes

it's $999 - $1,490 on their website depending on model and weight of car

I think the jack needs 3 inches of space to be able to fit under a car and lift it
>>16514542
That's exactly why I'm worried about it not being stable when lifted high up

#1 rule with Jacks.
ALWAYS double-block.
Whatever you are using, if it fails, there should be something else.

Fuck me I thought there was going to be a guy under there.

so this is what the gays are up to these days
>>16514712
I would but the ceiling isn't high enough for a 2 post
>>16514737
Get a free shop vent out of the deal too.
>>16514670
The jack stands are just holding up the pipes and mufflers
>>16514737
Beside not being able to do suspension work, or the site having a price... looks more stable.

Touche.

They make shorty 2 posts. The don't lift high enough for you to stand underneath the car, but certainly a few feet off the ground.
