Yeah, that looks like a pretty good deal. The seller sounds like an autist by the way he wrote the description so I am guessing he took pretty good care of it.

The main thing you want to look out for on these bikes is dirty carbs as people let it sit for months/years with expired gas which clogs up the carburetors and makes it run like shit. It's not the end of the world since you can just clean the carbs yourself but it's a pretty big pain in the ass for someone that isn't mechanically inclined.

Not really man. This is very typical with Ninja 250s and Ninja 500s. People buy them, put a few thousand miles on it, and then never ride it again.

Given the age of that one, $2,200 is a very reasonable price. Ask for the VIN and post it in the VIN thread to double check and it should be good to go. You'll really enjoy that bike too. The 500s are great

I started on one of those. Real easy to maintain and lots of fun. Only issue is the suspension is sprung really light so you have to swap it for a better shock if you want to do any racing or higher speed stuff.

very forgiving (I slid a few times on ice, sand and oil, never fell)
Check the air filter (stock one is made out of a weird material that breaks apart and clogs the carbs) and change it
Steering bearing is a weak point
change the oil regularly, be gentle when cold and it will last you a lifetime
