My mom is 5'1" and has none of these problems
I guess except the seat adjustment. Always a pain driving her car.

What is her car?
No one is going to save you. People like her shouldn't been driving a car if they are so incompetent.
Tell her the truth and fuck off.

STOP PUTTING HER IN A Ford F650 Truck.
She can drive just fine in a smaller car. If you insist on putting short people in huge cars, of course there will be visibility problems.

That article has shit all actually describing how those cars are better than competitive models. Shortys are at risk most by modern cars. Wide A pillars, blind spots from shit placed mirrors, blind spots from modern cars having wide hips and C pillars, and the ever rising beltlines.
Learn in an older car you can actually see out of, an old small SUV like a TJ or earlier Jeep or Suzuki Samurai and the like. Old subcompacts are also good, preferably hatches so you get a wide view out of the back.
