The only thing honda has going for it is the civic si, which skipped 2016, and the type R which isn't even awd. And the si is at it's core an upgraded econobox. It discontinued it's last rwd car in 09, the s2k. Plus, honda boyracers are probably my least favourite demographic of car enthusiasts

MX-5s are always cool, though.. and I unironically kinda enjoyed dicking around with my buddy's Mazda 3, even if it is an FF econobox platform. Might get one for a DD, sure beats the fuckin '07 Chevy equinox I've been using for that. Would splurge for AWD, but you know, the FD burns money when I think about cranking it and the equinox has a trade-in value of 12 bucks, may take another year or two to comfortably afford that

I actually test drove one yesterday (2016) It was fantastic man. Really really good. The seats are fucking comfy.

I'm thoroughly convinced it's what I want. The only minor issue is the 155hp version really does feel a bit down on power. But it's not that big of a deal. The dealer didn't have any other ones nor did he have one in manual.

I'm going to ask on Monday if he can find me one in manual with a 2.5.
