will your car stand the test of time?
do you think your car will live another 100 years?
do you have any way to reliably store your car for the next century
what kind of things would you want people in the future to see on your car?
would anybody want to buy your car 100 years from now?
Hahaha no. Also it takes an incredible effort to preserve a car for a century, and all those T-buckets are hacked up lies with 90% newer parts in them, and often even reproduction bodies.

dude stop talking out of your ass
>got a 32 year old w124 E-class Sedan
>it's still going strong although the rust is getting to the rear axle
I don't know if it will last another 68 years, but it damn sure is trying.

Why the fuck would I try to preserve a Saturn Ion? I'm sure the body of it will last, not sure about the engine and transmission
My Ford has been in this earth over 51 years. It can make it more.
I want the people of the future to see a carbureted, v8 powered machine that at the flip of a switch goes basically to a straight through exhaust system that can set off car alarms.
My Acura will certainly not survive

Pre 1990s porsce 911s

Your truck doesn't have a V8 bud.
my car probably wont make it till the end of the year

Not yet ;)

I don't know. I'm doing a mild refurbishment and going to time-proof it as much as possible before I store it. While disassembling, i noticed that after I cleaned off the eighth inch thick coating of grease, most of it looked really good for 62 years old. After I'm done with it I'll probably clean it really well, coat it in grease, and store it and wait for my kids to show interest.

An intake manifold is not an engine

Fuck I love that style of hotrod.

Not sure why I found this so funny
THE YEAR IS 2117 E85 IS THE ONLY STANDARD GAS
93 OCTAINE IS FEW AND FAR BETWEEN
MOST CARS ARE SOMEWHAT ELECTRIC AND AUTOMATED
MODERN CARS HAVE NO WINDOWS
THE ONLY LIVING 4CHAN USER LEFT IS 119 YEARS OLD
WHAT WILL THERE BE??!?!?!?!?!?
>>16493012
I think you mean 112 years old.

>do you think your car will live another 100 years?
Of course, it's lasted 44 so far and it's in great shape.
>do you have any way to reliably store your car for the next century
Yeah, in my garage
>what kind of things would you want people in the future to see on your car?
The motor. I think internal combustion is going to die and electric will eventually take over (sadly)
>would anybody want to buy your car 100 years from now?
I have no idea. I think so because it'll be cool and weird and rare compared to the cars 100 years from now. But I also think not because I have a suspicion that the people who think my car is cool are dying and after they're gone then there wont be any appeal for it.
Doesn't matter anyways, it isn't for sale, and and it never will be.

OP didn't ask if your car will live to 100, OP asked if your car will survive another hundred years. So your car would have to last 100 years total.
>Mercedes w124
It will

I'll still be alive. If I have had my car for 100 years I probably won't sell it anytime soon so I won't care
