What is your dream project car /o/?
Mine is a Shiro Z31 with a RB25 under the hood.
Is it a difficult swap or something? Because I haven't seen very many at all.

JDM Z31 had the 200ZR which had a RB20DET under the hood. It's not unreasonable that you'd be able to swap a RB25 in, but you'd need a custom crossmember (or source one from a 200ZR), driveshaft, and all the other parts that come with an engine swap.
They're not popular because there are better platforms to start with. Lighter, more common, larger aftermarket, cheaper, you name it.
Could be interesting though, and it might not even be *that* difficult as far as swaps go since I think some Z31s came with an RB20 from the factory.
As for my personal dream project, a 986 Boxster powered by an Audi 4.2l V8, and maybe a Techart widebody kit.
z20 soarer with a 2jz....one day.
P10 with manual, LSD, coilovers, some nice pads, 16x8 quality wheels, and a simple turbo.
1961/62 Pontiac Tempest wagon.
>keep the original massive 195 cu four banger base engine and "rope" drive for originality
>or install a Pontiac V8 as basically double (389 cu) the straight four or with up to 455 cu for more power as a nod to the GTO
>or a more modern Rover V8 as a nod to the optional Buick 215 engine
>and then turbo it as a nod to the Oldsmobile F85 Jetfire sibling
>or a Buick V6 as a nod to the Buick Special base engine and generally the heritage of Buick V6s
>and then turbo it as a nod to the Grand National
>can likely also be adapted to newer Corvette driveshaft, transaxle and suspension for better handling and power delivery without much cutting since it has a factory transaxle and IRS
>can also fit Oldsmobile F85 or Buick Special body panels for a different look
>or you can let a body shop turn it into a ute if you're tired of the wagon look
It literally only does everything.

Btw the Tempest had a transaxle and IRS and an optional aluminium V8 before the Corvette, the Buick Special was the first American production car with a V6 and the Olds F85 Jetfire was the world's first production car with a turbocharger, so there's quite the innovative value in these.

I too watched My Cousin Vinny
Two Fox Body Mustangs. One built to carve corners and one to kill the drag strip. Literally the most universal car ever produced.
