if i took a brand new car off the lot and put it into storage for 16 years, what would i need to do to it to get it back to new condition/operational after i pull it out of storage?
Unused gas will go bad.
Rubber parts and hoses will likely be rotten.
Old tires might go flat and decay.
Ded battery.
Mold everywhere if the storage unit is not dry enough.

i planned on putting it on jackstands and draining the coolant. debated whether i should put a cover over it since it was going to be in a garage. was also just going to straight pull the battery out.
was also thinking about tossing some mothballs and dessicant packs in the inside.

you wouldn't happen to know where i could get the plans for a 33' chris craft cabin cruiser do you?

Car covers might trap dirt and condense humidity if the storage conditions go bad.
But for what reason are you going to mothball a new car? Doing time? """"investment""""?

I'm sorry, I'm not quite that much of a boat guy.

You just have to drain the fluids first.
