ford, the company behind one of the most inefficient cars of our age,the crown victoria, announces its plans for a v6 'super' car riddled with turbos, only 4 years after the discontinuation of the crown vic,and says they have plans for a hybrid mustang that will launch by 2020
did they go with a v6 in their halo car because of the distinct sound?
no,because it sounds just as good as a v6 accord
did they go with a v6 because its more economical and efficient?
no,because no one spends $400,000 on a car and worries about what sort of mileage it gets
did they go with a v6 because its lighter than an engine with more displacement and cylinders?
can't be,because the chassis is made of carbon fiber and that should cover the extra weight of a bigger engine
where did it all go so wrong?
is the US slowly turning into europe?
Did you seriously just answer your own questions 3 times in a row.
no serious discussion allowed?
hmmm........

>heavy engine is ok because the rest of the car is light
v8 logic
>what is power:weight
>what is weight distribution
FI+lighter engine = win the race
NA+heavier engine = win the respect of boomers and wannabe boomers
No, a turbo'd car isn't more DD-able. We have superchargers for that. But it is better on the track and more impressive on paper which are the natural habitats of supercars
You forgot:
Are they following in the footsteps of the great commercial successes of the last TT V6 supercar?

Win the race
>Lose all the money
Win the respect of boomers
>Make tons of money from old gray haired dumbass Americucks
Not seeing why we're moving to FI. The people who like turbo cars can't even afford them anyway. Seems like a literally retarded business decision.
