This bothers me a bit, I've met people irl who think that revving the engine high is really bad for the car. As far as my understanding goes, if the engine has warmed up and has enough oil and no other issues, it doesn't hurt to rev it out as long as you stay under the redline and don't do it all the time. The people who think it's bad seem to usually be girls though. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong though.

Accelerating with whide open throttle and low rpm gives you the best efficieny.
That is usually pretty fast on most modern cars, since pretty much every shitbox has more than 100hp these days.
