From every auction website for importing to Canada that I've seen, they're pretty expensive, so that could be why no one has imported them here yet.
Though, they are actually one of my dream cars, I'd love to own one. Too much of my money goes into fixing my current car right now though...

Pretty sure that's normal. At least in a motorcycle crash you'll probably be thrown pretty far, maybe to safety. If you hit even a shopping car at speed in one of those you're done.
