Which should I buy, /o/? I'm looking for a fun street car for cruising and occasional track use. This will be a weekend toy, NOT a DD.

Idk about spending $6K on an SN95 but it's already all done up and ready to go. I wouldn't have to spend any more on mods.
The Corvette has more potential and costs a grand less but I'd have to spend more time and money to reach that potential.
Corvette. They do really well in stock autocross. Better than an e36 m3.
v6 swapped miata

Corvettes are better than fbodies
drop a G10 engine into the corvette

i have a c4 with the same mileage and love it. you won't be disappointed.
Go for the vette OP.
I think you'll enjoy it more and also agree with not spending 6k for an sn95. You'll have fun modding it yourself too!
These are both surprisingly good options. I'd go with the mustang because like you said yourself, you won't have to put much more into it to have fun .

save money and get a MINT c4 zr1
Vette, easy decision. The Mustang may look well sorted but who knows, things will go wrong and you'll find yourself doing an archaeological dig through aftermarket parts/wiring trying to figure out what is going on. The Corvette is clean and almost completely stock, easy to deal with.
Vette
The stang looks like trouble and all that engine work for 300rwhp is what the Lt and LS in the vette makes stock.
Stock cars are so much more fun to mod as well and project cars like the rustbang won't ever work the way u want it too.

Both of those are shit but Corvette is less shit. Personally, I hate the updated interior, revamped rear end, and lack of trim but it's still good.
