I saw a 95 Lexus SC400 for sale today, for 2500. Anyone know anything about this car? As far as driveabiliy and maintenance. The car looks pretty solid, has damage on the passenger fender but other than that it's good. Even the tires are fairly new and all the same brand. Anyone know if that would be a fair price? I didn't get the chance to drive it because I had to go to work but here a pic
Here's the engine itself
Here's the damage, pretty noticeable but I've seen worse
I do like the car, but obviously I need to drive it. I'd rather get a AWD/4WD but at that price it's tough to find anything decent

there's a fuckheug dent on the left fender too, in case you didn't notice

Did you even bother reading the op? That's literally one of the first thing I pointed out
That said how bad could it be? Assuming everything else is solid

Actually I misread your post, I don't think that's a dent but I could be wrong. I'm not really sure it didn't look like a debt when I saw it

it's definitely a dent.
go fuck yourself

LOL you don't have to be a sick bro, but yeah you're right it is a dent I didn't even notice. It looks like it got side sweeped and the other side hit another car?

own 3 soarers or "SC's" for you 'murricans
they are breddy gud, the V8's have enough power to get around, drives silky smooth like butter.
very reliable, pic related
make sure it's had its major service done
(water pump, cam belt, rotors, etc)
if the rotors are really old they can shatter and if that happens then just like a highschool graduate, you wont be going anywhere
my biased opinion is that these are 10/10 cars(if looked after)
fenders can be found fairly cheap and arent too hard to replace

Very interesting chart, is there anything similar for awd cars? It seems pretty solid, but the age of the car is a little concerning. But from eye balling it is looks like its in top tier shape, outside of the fenders. How much do you normally spend in upkeep/maintenance? I don't want to go broke but I do want to maintain its reliability. If it were a awd I'd probably get it but that's what's holding me back
